Aleta’s Story

Hi, I'm Aleta. I have had the privilege to have been a part of Faith Community Church since its beginnings and I've watched the Lord do amazing things through the valuable work of church planting. I graduated from Western Seminary and have worked locally as a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in Santa Cruz County since 1996 having opportunities to speak at retreats and to walk with my amazing clients in their journey towards healing. I also am on the committee for the Midtown Community Center helping steward the church building to help care for and meet needs for the city. I have a core value of being a good steward of resources to care for the marginalized. Personally, I have been married to my husband, Andy, for 30 years and have three amazing adult kids.  I enjoy creating things in my spare time knitting, cooking, making pottery, and building furniture with my husband.  I crave time outside exploring and hiking in the redwoods and at the coast.
