Chad has been serving as Administrator and Elder since 2012.

Chad’s Story

I was born in Portland, Oregon, and moved to the Santa Cruz area 28 years ago when I was 10 years old. I graduated from Aptos High and went to Cabrillo College and earned my AA in Criminal Justice. From there I attended Bethany University (once located in Scotts Valley) where I obtained a BA in General Ministries with a minor in Church Leadership. I then, along with my wife, attended Fuller Seminary where we received our MA in Theology. I am married to Tarah Brown, our pastor of family life, and we have two crazy boys London and Logan. I desire to see members of our church steward their resources and gifts to further the Gospel. It is through that desire that I have served as Faith Community's Administrator and Elder since 2012.
